국문 초록 (Abstract)
본 연구는 요양병원에서 근무하는 간호사의 사전의료의향서에 대한 지식과 태도를 파악함으로써 요양병원 간호사의 효율적인 생의 말기 임종간호를 위한 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 시도한 서술적 조사연구이다. 본 연구의 대상자는 B, D, G시 소재 10개 요양병원에 근무하는 간호사 122명이었으며, 연구의 도구로 사전의료의향서에 대한 지식은 홍선우와 김신미[17]가 개발한 사전의료의향서에 대한 지식 측정 도구를 이용하였고, 사전의료의향서에 대한 태도는 Nolan과 Bruder[18]가 개발하고 2003년 수정․보완한 Advance Directive Attitude Survey (ADAS)를 김미혜[19]가 번역한 도구를 사용하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 23.0 통계프로그램을 이용하여 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, t-test, one-way ANOVA로 분석하였으며 사후검정은 Scheffé test를 사용하였다.
본 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 대상자의 성별은 여성이 93.4%, 평균 연령은 43.36세, 결혼상태는 ‘기혼’이 73.8%, 종교는 ‘유’가 52.5%, 최종학력은 ‘전문대 졸’이 56.6%로 많았다. 임상근무경력은 ‘3～6년미만’이 36.9%, 요양병원 근무경력은 ‘3～6년미만’이 34.4%이었다. 사전의료의향서에 대한 교육경험은 ‘아니오’가 75.4%였으며, 연명의료제공경험은 ‘예’가 72.1%, 연명의료결정시 간호사 참여의사는 ‘예’ 69.7%로 나타났다. 연명의료결정법에 대한 이해는 ‘예’가 74.6%, ‘아니오’ 25.4%이었고, 사전의료의향서에 대해 들어본 적이 ‘있다’가 59.8%이었으며, 사전의료의 향서 작성 시기는 56.6%가 ‘건강할 때’ 작성해야 한다고 하였다. 2. 대상자의 사전의료의향서에 대한 지식은 9점 만점에 평균 7.61±1.27점이었고, 대상자의 사전의료의향서에 대한 태도 는 최대 4점을 기준으로 2.92±0.35점이었다.
3. 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 사전의료의향서의 지식과 태도는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 4. 대상자의 사전의료의향서에 대한 지식과 태도의 관계는 약한 양의 상관관계(r=.29, p<.001)를 보였다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때 요양병원에서 근무하는 간호사의 사전의료의향서에 대한 지식과 태도는 비교적 높게 나타났으며, 사전의료의향서에 대한 지식이 높을수록 사전의료의향서에 긍정적인 태도를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)
This study is a descriptive research study that attempted to provide basic data for effective end-of-life care for geriatric hospital nurses by understanding their knowledge and attitudes about advance directives in geriatric hospital. The study was conducted on 122 nurses at 10 places of geriatric hospitals in the cities of B, C, and D. The knowledge measurement tool for advance directives developed by Hong sun-woo and Kim shin-mi [17] was used for the knowledge of advance directives study, and the Advance Directive Attitude Survey (ADAS) developed by Nolan and Bruder [18], modified in 2003 and translated by Kim mi-hye [19] was used for attitudes about advance directives study. The SPSS 23.0 statistical program analyzed data such as frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The Scheffé test was used for post-verification.
The results of this study are as follows.
1. The gender of the subjects was 93.4% for women, the average age was 43.36 years old for women, 73.8% for married women, 52.5% for having religion, and 56.6% for college graduated. Clinical work experience of less than three to six years is 36.9%, and geriatric hospital work experience less than three to six years is 34.4%. about 75.4% said they had never been educated about advance directives, while 72.1% said they provided life-care. 69.7% agreed to participate when deciding on a life-care, and 74.6% understood implementation of the well dying law. About 59.8% said they have heard about advance directives and 56.6% said the patients should write advance directives when they are healthy.
2. The subject's knowledge of advance directives was an average of 7.61 ± 1.27 out of nine, and the subject's attitude about advance directives was 2.92 ± 0.35 out of 4 maximum points.
3. The knowledge and attitude about advance directives according to the general characteristics of the subjects did not show any significant difference.
4. The relationship between knowledge and attitude about the subject's advance directives was weak positive correlation (r=.29, p<.001).
Combining the above results, the knowledge and attitude of nurses at geriatric hospitals was relatively high. also the more they knew well about advance directives, the more positive attitudes about it were shown.
