초록[abstracts]
[본 연구는 영화를 통한 시사고발의 재현이 가지는 정치 및 사회문화적 맥락의미를 고찰하고자 하였다. ‘2005년 황우석 박사의 줄기세포 논문조작사건’을 모티프로 재현한 영화 〈제보자〉에서 재현소재가 어떻게 재현되는지 분석하고자 통합체(주요사안을 중심으로 서사구조 파악), 계열체(등장인물간의 갈등, 대립관계 파악), 행위주 모델의 기호학적 분석을 통해 맥락의미와 이데올로기를 파악하였다. 본 연구를 통해 첫째, 〈제보자〉는 기득권층의 권력유착 관계에서 사회의 윤리도덕, 정의구현이 붕괴되고 있는 모습이 재현되고 있고, 이에 대한 저항과 순응의 대립된 태도가 나타났다. 둘째, 〈제보자〉는 기득권층 권력유착 관계, 저널리즘의 공정성 논란, 과학의 상업성, 사회전반의 결과지상주의 등 한국사회의 정치 및 사회문화적 가치에 대한 회의적 관점을 함의하고 있다. 반면 사회 내의 도덕성, 윤리성, 진실성, 정직성, 양심은 강조되는 것으로 파악되었다. 셋째, 사회에 대한 저항 이데올로기가 나타나며, 맥락의미에서는 지배 이데올로기, 즉, 기득권층 권력유착 관계, 저널리즘의 공정성 논란, 과학의 상업성, 결과 지상주의 등에 대한 성찰적 관점을 내포하고 있음을 확인하였다.
This study was to find out political, sociocultural and contextual meaning of investigative reporting representation through film. For this purpose, in film of 〈The whistleblower〉 was motifed from ‘Dr. Hwang Woo Suk’s Stem Cell Fabrication Scandal(2005)’ was to analyze representation of investigative reporting. 〈The whistleblower〉 were analyzed by semiotic analytic methods such as syntagmatic analysis method(grasp the entire narrative structure), paradigmatic analysis method(grasp the conflict or confrontation between the characters) and actantial models. Through this analysis, this study try to figure out contextual meaning and ideologies which these work connote. firstly, 〈The whistleblower〉 represents the collapse of ethics and justice in society through the adhesion power of vested authority, and it shows the opposing attitude of resistance and conformity. Secondly, 〈The whistleblower〉 implies a skeptical viewpoint on the political and sociocultural values of Korean society, especially, the adhesion power of vested authority, the controversy of journalism’s fairness, the commerciality of science, and consequentialism. On the other hand, 〈The whistleblower〉 emphasizes morality, ethics, truthfulness, integrity and conscience in society. Thirdly, 〈The whistleblower〉 shows a social resistance ideology, it is identified that the contextual meaning implies a reflective perspective of the dominant ideology of the adhesion power of vested authority, the controversy of journalism’s fairness, the commerciality of science, and consequentialism.]
