Internet usage records Electronic records are available in medical facilities and electronic tables are currently available. Compared to paper charts, electronic charts are an advantage in terms of convenience and time savings in finding medical records. Of course, it is not merely an advantage, and when changing from a paper chart to an electronic chart, electronic charts can become important evidence to reveal the cause of a medical accident. In the event of a medical accident, it is important to find out the cause of the dispute, which can play an important role in finding the cause.
Forensic is a procedure and method for identifying and proving the facts of a specific act occurring as a mediator of digital devices. To collect, analyze and report data to submit electronic evidence to the judicial authority.
As digital forensic technology evolves and the legal validity of digital evidence becomes more important, anti forensics is also evolving. Anti-forensics is a series of actions that damage or block functional evidence that will work against you in response to digital forensic techniques. Recently, anti-forensic expert tools have been introduced to automate anti-forensics.
Anti-forensic techniques are evolving to conceal or corrupt evidence. Typical techniques include concealment and deletion of information according to the characteristics of the file system, steganography, concealment of information using metadata, and physical destruction of information.
Medical advances have received many health benefits in our lives. However, medical incidents are also seen in cross section. It is important to find evidence when a medical accident occurs, and as the Internet develops, it is changing from an existing paper chart to an electronic medical record. Electronic medical records are designated by the Medical Law and medical records can play an important role in the occurrence of medical accidents. Because of the development of digital forensics, anti-forensic methodology using forensics is also attracting attention in medical disputes. We may find it difficult to find evidence when we hid, tampered or altered our electronic medical records with anti forensics.
In this paper, we propose a method of using digital forensics to eliminate the cause of medical accidents and a method to prevent and protect evidence of medical records in case of medical accidents by using anti – forensics. When a medical dispute occurs due to a medical accident, it is difficult to identify the cause of the medical accident by changing, encrypting and hiding the electronic medical records.
If a medical accident occurs, we will use digital forensics to learn about steganography and present a corresponding methodology.
