초록[abstracts]
[This study aims to understand the ethical issues that researchers face in the process of conducting qualitative research as counselors and seek relevant countermeasures to address the issue. To this end, the study first explored the existing research ethics guidelines and precedent studies conducted on the topic of research ethics and how ethics are defined in philosophy that studies ethics as a key issue. The study also examined what the basis of ethical behavior is and where the difference stems from to distinguish ethical person from unethical person. As a practicing counselor, the author has interviewed researchers conducting qualitative research in the research field, to identify what kind of ethical problems they are facing and which efforts they are exerting to solve the ethical problems they encounter. The author also interviewed a researcher conducting qualitative research to look into the perspective gap between the researcher conducting the qualitative research and the research participants. In conclusion, qualitative analysis was conducted on the contents of the interviews, based on philosophical discourse and logic. Based on this analysis, this study discussed the ethical stance and practices required for the researchers who conduct qualitative research as a counselor.The result of this study revealed that procedure-based behaviors in ethical practice had their limitations in conducting qualitative research as a councilor, as the behaviors mean following ethical regulations or guidelines provided by predecessors without self-reflection, accepting it as responsibilities to imply universality and identity. The author, therefore, proposed “becoming an ethical subject,” a différance-generative way of existence to become an “alter ego”, as a work ethic required for a researcher conducting qualitative research as a counselor. This can be achieved by introspecting one’s own way of existence that the person adheres in this life of here and now and embracing the implicit request of unconditional hospitality expressed in the face of “the absolute other (totaliter aliter)” facing the self.,
본 연구는 상담자로서 질적 연구를 수행하는 연구자들이 연구 과정에서 직면하게 되는 윤리적 문제들을 이해하고, 이에 대처할 수 있는 방향을 모색하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 연구 윤리 지침들과 연구 윤리 관련 선행연구들을 살펴보고, 윤리를 핵심과제로 다루는 철학에서는 윤리를 무엇이라고 규정하고 있는지, 윤리적 행동의 근거는 무엇이며, 윤리적 인간과 비윤리적 인간의 차이는 어디서 출발하는지에 대하여 알아보았다. 그리고 실제 상담자로서 연구 현장에서 질적 연구를 진행하고 있는 연구자들과의 면담을 통하여 그들이 고민하는 윤리적 문제들은 무엇이고, 그러한 윤리적 문제들을 해결하기 위하여 어떠한 노력을 하는지 살펴보았고. 질적 연구에 참여하고 있는 한 명의 연구참여자와의 면담을 실시하여 질적 연구자와 연구참여 자의 관점에서 나타나는 차이를 들여다보았다. 마지막으로 철학적 담론과 논리를 근거로 면담내용에 대해 질적 분석을 실시하였고, 이를 토대로 상담자로서 질적 연구를 수행하는 우리에게 요구되는 윤리적 태도와 실천에 대해 논의하였다. 그 결과, 보편성과 동일성을 담지하는 의무로서의 윤리인 윤리 규정이나 선행 질적 연구자들이 제시한 지침들을 아무런 반성 없이 준수 하는 절차주의적 윤리 실천 행위는 상담자로서 질적 연구를 수행함에 있어서 그 한계가 있음이 드러났다. 이에 본 연구자는 상담자로서 질적 연구를 수행하는 연구자에게 요구되는 윤리로서 자신의 존재를 확인하기 위해 선택하여 지금-여기 삶의 현장에서 여전히 붙들고 있는 나의 존재 방식을 반성하고, 나와 마주하고 있는 절대적인 타자의 얼굴에서 전달되는 무조건적인 환대에 대한 요청을 받아드림으로써 ‘또 다른 나’가 되기를 결단하고 실천하는 차이 생성적 실존 양식인 ‘윤리적 주체-되기’를 제안하였다.]
